The Backyard Cove Shipping Policy

We want your order to arrive as smoothly as possible. Below you’ll find important shipping details, delivery expectations, and policies for larger freight shipments.

Processing & Delivery Times

In-stock orders typically arrive within 7–10 business days. Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items generally ship within 6–8 weeks.

Shipping Eligibility

We currently ship direct to locations within the continental United States. Special shipping provisions apply to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada, as outlined below.

Free Shipping

We offer free shipping on orders over $99 shipped within the contiguous 48 United States. Free shipping does not apply to orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Customers shipping to Alaska or Hawaii are responsible for all shipping charges, duties, and tariffs associated with their order.

Carriers & Transit Expectations

Smaller items are typically shipped via UPS, while larger items are shipped via LTL freight carrier. The Backyard Cove reserves the right to select the carrier best suited for each shipment.

Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, we are no longer able to control transit activity, including shipping address changes, guaranteed delivery dates, or exact delivery timing. Delivery estimates are based on information provided by the carrier.

Freight Deliveries

Unless otherwise noted, all freight deliveries are curbside only. Larger shipments sent via LTL freight require an adult signature upon delivery.

If a customer authorizes the carrier to leave a shipment without a signature, The Backyard Cove cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss that occurs after delivery.

Remote or Difficult-to-Access Locations

Orders shipping to remote or hard-to-access locations may incur additional shipping charges. Examples may include rooftop condos, limited-access properties, narrow or winding roads, gravel or dirt roads, or vacant establishments.

If additional shipping charges are required, a member of our customer service team will contact you before shipment is finalized.

Customer Responsibility for Delivery Access

It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us at the time of purchase of any delivery limitations or site access concerns. The Backyard Cove is not responsible for shipping costs associated with failed delivery attempts due to carrier inability to access the delivery location.

In-Home Delivery

In-home delivery is not included unless specifically stated otherwise and may not be available in all locations, even for an additional fee.
